Either I overtightened and mushroomed the flange connection on the fuel line or maybe just need a new HPFP. I'm now back to being afraid I screwed something up when doing the cam follower. I ran a Fuel Injection (fuel supply system) test in VCDS v18 and it says System Not OK I'd suspect that is the G247 or something to do with fuel supply (e.g filter, lpfp, hpfp, rail relief valve, sensors, etc.) I had too lean on idle.you have too lean off idle. I checked the PCV hose a second time and tried to clear the code and VCDS says OK but I'm not sure that it actually cleared. It's on the firewall and has a 1/4' hose that runs to the right of the bay which comes out of the bottom of that big fitting in the firewall (with the number on it) I'll try to figure out what it does but if anyone has an idea lmk. Hoping ECS has a better quality or fitting replacement.

It's very hard plastic, maybe all it took was a tiny tap but who knows. I also remember trying to be as careful as possible working around it. Not yet sure what it's job is so I'm not ruling this out as the culprit just yet.

Just attached a photo of the only hose I can see that looks bad but it's been like that for a while.
